[Exchange 2010] Can not check mail database with isinteg Information Store crash
Hello, before I begin, I am not sure if this is the correct forum for this topic.in the domain there is one user which have given all users rights to view the calender (2). I have checked the access rights of the calender twice, there is no error. For some reason it is not possible to add thsi users calender to take a look at it. When a user tries to add the users calender over the open shared calenders function in outlook there is a message that there are not sufficent rights to logon. When I give full access for testing to the mailbox it works. Because I could not find any errors at the security rights I thought it might help to make a isinteg -fix. But the problem is that I can not do it. When I start isinteg -s server -fix -test alltestsI receive the error: "Isinteg cannot initiate verification process".-->Only databases marked as Offline can be checked Index Status Database-Name 1 Offline Mailbox Database 1853496097Enter a number to select a database or press Return to exit.1You have selected Mailbox Database 1853496097.Continue?(Y/N)yIsinteg cannot initiate verification process. Please review the log file for more information.<--It looks like that the error occures because the information store is crashing at this moment. I don't know how to handle this problem.Maybe the calender access problem is not related to the isinteg problem but I thought this might have something to do with it.What I tried: - Resetting security rights to default from Active Directory user object - eseutil /d - Checking if database is in clean shutdown - eseutil /g - installed Update Rollup 1eseutil /gExtensible Storage Engine Utilities for Microsoft(R) Exchange ServerVersion 14.00Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. Hi,In previous versions of Exchange, the ISINTEG tool was used for logical testing and repair of databases. It is important to note that due to the Store schema changes incorporated into Exchange 2010, the tests that are part of ISINTEG no longer work. This problem may be addressed in future service pack releases. For the calendar permission issue, please use PFDAVAdmin to check the status of the DACL for that folder.ThanksAllen

Hallo Allen, thank you for the important message. Is there any other way to make tests of the database to repair errors? For the permission issue I allready have opened a support call. Accidently we fixed the problem as I was ordered to test the issue with setting delegations. I set the delegations (this took longer than normal) and it worked. After removing it I still could open the calender and all other could open the calender, too.

Hi,Until now, no tool is available. That will be released in future update. By default, the Database Maintenance process is set to run continuously in the background which attempts to completely can a database once a day. When any error exists in the database, the corresponding Event will be generated.ThanksAllen
